Throughout the summer of this year, we focused our work on a 500 gallon fuel tank that would be housed inside a luggage trailer. This tank would be portable, making it easy for the fueling of helicopters with the University of MS Medical Center in Columbus. The tank itself had many of the same components as a regular fuel farm tank, and it still had the basic concept of fueling aircraft. Above is a picture of the finished product. The fuel tank was fabricated in our own shop by our technicians, which involved many man hours of welding, pressure testing, and getting it right!
